Maan Source Hiring for Jr. / Sr. Accountant at Mangalore Full Time

We are looking for an ambitious Accountant at 2 levels to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the junior accountants day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.

Responsibilities for Junior Accountant

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
• Assist with other accounting projects

Responsibilities for Senior Accountant

• Ensure recording all the transactions on a day to day basis.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
• Monthly Preparation of event wise job cost report
• Ensure to prepare the bank reconciliation on monthly basis.
• Complete scrutiny of petty cash expenses and impose strict internal controls.
• Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities
• Monitor and support taxation issues
• Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
• Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
• Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues
• Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
• Proper management of Fixed Assets, verification of monthly depreciations, asset disposals, and checking the profitability of financing of various assets.
• Comparison of Project costs with budgeted costs and verification of variations approved.
• Any other related works which are not listed above but its nature requires it to be discharged by the Finance Department.

Required Skills:

• Ctc 3lacs – 8lacs
• Qualifications- Any Graduate can apply (preferred- B.COM)
• Senior accountant – 4- 6 Years of experience into Accounts
• Junior Accountant – 2- 4 Years of experience into Accounts
• Proven experience as a junior accountant/ Senior Accountant.
• Excellent organizing abilities
• Great attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer softwars (e.g. SAP)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹300,000.00 – ₹800,000.00 per year
