Key Responsibilities
As part of Maersk Indirect Procurement, you will have to support and manage team to analyse and execute procurement activities within the global scope of ICM. You will be expected to develop Total Cost of Ownership models to understand cost structures, build negotiation strategies and execute them together with the core project team.

The GSC Procurement team in Indirect Category Management (ICM) supports the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group with category management of: Consultancy Services, HR Services, Marketing Services, Insurances, Temporary Manpower, Travel, Facility Management, Corporate Real Estate Management, I.T. (hardware, services & AMCs), Employee Transportation, Office Security, Office OEM AMCs and Consumables. The team has expertise in a wide range of capabilities, including category management, project management, consulting and negotiations.

Specifically, you will support the business with:
•Manage procurement for Indirect categories in the GSC
•Leading sourcing projects and support project teams within ICM.
•Manage Pan India operational spend in Indirect categories
•Align GSC procurement activities with Global procurement policies

•Deliver Cost effective procurement of quality products, services for the various businesses of GSC spread across India, China and Philippines.
•Ensuring that purchases are happening in compliant fashion and sourcing stage gate reviews adhered
•Manage strategic sourcing initiatives by working closely with GSC stakeholders and implementing with help of group procurement expertise.
•Determine cost-effective procurement methods
•Leading negotiations on favorable terms, volume discounts and long- term contracts with suppliers

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate must have a Master’s degree with 5 – 8 years of relevant category management experience with-in Indirect Procurement.

The ideal candidate would have worked actively with category management, execution of procurement processes including spend and data analysis, RFx process, stakeholder management, work plan development, procurement strategy development and negotiation planning and execution. In addition, the candidate should possess excellent English communication skills both verbal and written as regular interaction with the global team is expected
