Key Responsibilities
1. Advisory
Providing legal & commercially viable solutions like non-compliance by Customers, Vendors, subcontractors, fraud to the management. Assess legal risk and exposure of the company in all business and operational ventures. Provide business knowledge & support to the Claims team.
2. Drafting & Vetting
Assistance for drafting and reviewing of all types of contracts, agreements, NDA, LOI’s, Bank Guarantees, POA, LOA, etc for the Company and its Group entities Co-ordination with internal departments of Group Companies and senior management for timely closure of contracts. Assisting in maintaining hard and soft copy of Contracts, including maintaining a tracker. Updating, monitoring and reporting of overall status of Contracts Standardization of all location / branch office agreements Legal communication with local authorities, vendors, customers and employees Identify and evaluate for implementation of industry best practices in areas of contract drafting, compliance and document retention; Develop training tools, PPT and Process Flows in relevant areas of law; Provide assistance in any other function/role of the Law team as required or as requested by the manager. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.
3. Knowledge Sharing and Legal Awareness
Making all functions aware of various applicable Statutory laws & compliances.
Who we are looking for
Degree in Law (LLB/LLM)5+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Legal work.Great communication skills and interpersonal skills.Prior Experience in working in Warehousing & Distribution and Logistics & Transportation Industry.
