Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Exhaust system parts design & development (Both Hot End & Cold End).

Sound knowledge of Design & Development with DVP of Muffler and Resonators.

Good understanding of Engine & Vehicle Requirement towards NVH and verification on Final Product.

Sound knowledge of Exhaust Layout Integration on Vehicle both in Commercial and Passenger Vehicle.

Aftertreatment system and parts integration and release.

System level target definition, DFMEA, DFMA, DVP preparation & achieving the targets.

Participation in field visits and benchmark activities.

Tail pipe regulation knowledge & Exhaust, ATS proposal preparation.

Experience

3 to 5 yrs.

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

B.E/ B.Tech Automobile/ Mechanical

General Requirements

Sound knowledge of automotive Engine, and Tail pipe Emissions.

Knowledge on Engine ,ATS and Muffler/Resonator integration in vehicle. Experienced in Diesel /CNG engine design, development and application engineering.

Vehicle knowledge to understand the interface aggregate requirements and resolving the conflict.

Good technical knowledge of NVH & PBN

Hands on experience/knowledge on CATIA.

Knowledge of CAE, CFD, and NVH software will be added advantage.

Sound understanding of Engine, exhaust system, turbocharging, intercooling and trouble shooting.

Familiarity with writing specifications for exhaust and other engine systems

Should Have knowledge of CATIA & Teamcenter
