Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Review of design documents related to Chassis , Body , GSM

Document observations from the review committee

Prepare check list for systems

collect learnings and prepare design guidelines

work with System engineers and Design review teams, manufacturing teams, project teams

Plan and document TKO process for each part and system, note deviations , suggest modifications , collect data

General Competencies

Knowledge about manufacturing process related to Chassis, suspension , BIW , GSM

strong fundamental knowledge of design process including methods, acceptance criteria , failure criteria , interpretation of simulation results from CAE , NVH

Strong fundamentals in materials

Knowledge of CATIA

Knowledge of GD&T

Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job

System Knowledge – Chassis , Suspension , BIW , GSM

Should be able to understand and moderate DFMEA. should be aware of tools like DFMEA , PFMEA etc.

Knowledge of CATIA and TC – should be able to open 3D models , annotations , check sections , check workflows

Knowledge of GD&T – should be able to understand and read drawing , should be able to corelate dimensions , tolerances and functional behavior of system. should be able to interpret stack

Expertise in design findamentals

General Requirements

Graduation Score > 80%

Preferably from any Premier Institutes

Experience

10 to 15 Years

BE or ME or MTech in Mechanical Engineering // Automobile Engineering
