Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Should have a clear understanding of internal combustion engine and its sub systems

Should have a on hand experience of 3D CAD software like CATIA(preferred) or UG NX

Adequate knowledge in CAE and CFD related to internal combustion engine

Adequate Knowledge in DFMEA, DFC, DFM and DFS

Should have sufficient knowledge in detailing, tolerance stack up and GD&T

BOM preparation and maintaining

Need to have casting and machining process knowledge

Ability to interact with development team and supplier for component development

Versatile to work with support system teams and address the integration related concern

Ability to resolve vehicle level integration concerns

Ability to address the manufacturing and build issues with supplier and plant team

Time Management for self & CFT for on time delivery of the project

Functional Requirement:
Component design and development

3D CAD software like UG NX and CATIA

Part detailing, tolerance stack up and GD&T

Knowledge in DFMEA, DFC, DFM and DFS

Documentation and presentation preparation for Audit

Experience

3 to 5 years

Industry Preferred

Automotive, Design and development in casting componets, maching building

Qualifications

BE, ME ( Mechanical, Automobile and mechatronics)

General Requirements

Ability to plan activity and do the work to align the project timeline

Flexiblity to adapt the new work and accept the changes

Think alternatively to address concerns

Interact with internal teams and suppliers for component
