This internship will involve challenging opportunities, real world projects and regular interaction with the social media team. It is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience in the social media field)Period: 6 months un paid internship (Post successful completion of internship period, the intern would be hired as an employee at an entry level position)Working Hours: 10-15 hours per weekWorking Days: Mon- FridayLocation: Remote, working from home.Equipment’s: not provided, applicant would need a working internet and a laptop or desktop with a quiet room in their home to work office hours.ResponsibilitiesAs a SMM Apprentice, you’ll need to:

• Work alongside the team to create a plan for social media strategies monthly
• Stories/Group Posting/Offline Lead Generation
• Hashtag Knowledge/Tiktok/Youtube
• Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
• Undertake audience research
• Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
• Assist in the growth of the brand by raising awareness through various social media platforms
• Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on popular social media websites such as Twitter/Facebook/You Tube/Linkedin/Instagram/Tiktok
• Help create content as per the monthly editorial calendar to promote sales, blogs & products

Linkedin Daily Actions

• Check messages received and respond. Move people to the next stage of your process. You are not selling anything over messages. Move them to a call/zoom meeting etc.
• Share 3 posts and leave 3 comments on posts by potential clients. Do not overthink this. Keep the comments simple.
• Like 10 posts from your ideal clients.
• Send 30-50 connection requests to your ideal clients.
• Check new connections and send them your outreach message (minimum of 20).
• Endorse the top 3 skills of everyone you send a message.
• Send a reminder to anyone who has a meeting booked today reminding of the time and format of the meeting (teams/phone call).
• On Mondays send follow-up messages to anyone who hasn’t responded and it has been at least 3 days since you sent the original message.
• Once a week add an offer/testimonial post to your feed.

These are the daily actions that will be done for every working day in the month.Facebook Daily Actions

• Leave 2-3 comments on relevant posts in Facebook groups (in your niche). This cannot be pushy. Just try and give your opinion and let people know what you do whilst doing so. So if one of your prospects asks how to get clients, you might say: “I think Facebook ads are the absolute best way to get clients in 2021. We’ve been helping people get 6-8 new clients a month on a $500 ad spend! Drop me a dm to find out how.” People will respond to you.
• Try and join FB groups related to your niche.
• Send a friend’s request to 50-60 people a day on Facebook (your prospects).
• Send the outreach message to any prospect who has accepted your friend’s request (should be 20-30).
• Like and comment on 5 posts from your prospects.
• Send a follow-up message to anyone who hasn’t responded and it has been at least 3 days since you sent the original message.
• Once a week add an offer/testimonial post to your feed.

These are the daily actions that will be done for every working day in the month.Instagram Daily Actions

• Respond to any messages received.
• Find your ideal client on Instagram by searching for hashtags they might use.
• Follow them and like their 3 most recent photos.
• Send them a personalised outreach message.
• Leave a comment on the most recent photo. Something like: Great work! Check your DMs.
• Do this for 40 people (you might have to do this from more than one account).
• Find the top 10 posts for 5 relevant hashtags.
• Leave a comment on all the posts. Keep it simple, eg: “Great work! Are you currently using any paid advertising to get new customers?”
• Make sure you use relevant hashtags for your niche.
• Send follow-up messages to anyone who hasn’t responded after 3 days.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing/Mass Media/Public Relations or related filed
• Prior Internship experience in social media management of 6 months to 1 year
• Certification in Google Analytics preferred
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office & Adobe Suite
• General knowledge of SEO & internet ranking for web content
• Entry level understanding of marketing strategy & how to use the concepts on various platforms
• An understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to advertising/branding creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
• Strong communication and people skills for articulating ideas to colleagues
• Excellent team working, collaboration and networking skills
• Excellent written & spoken English
