Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.

Understand the functional & non-functional requirements; validate the requirements from the end-users perspective and report the gaps

Write test cases with very good coverage

Execute the test cases and capture the test results

Prepare the test report and log defects with all the required details in the bug tracking tool

Coordinate with the development team and track all the reported defects to closure

Perform regression testing on demand for the target list of features

Review and update the existing test cases wherever required

Post-release & pre-release testing
