Who You’ll Work With
You will be based in our Bengaluru office as part of our McKinsey Global Services India Pvt. Ltd Location Admin-Operations team.
The McKinsey Global Services India Pvt. Ltd. (“MGS”) consists of approximately 450 colleagues who serve the global firm across many paths such as visual graphics & media, executive assistants, global finance & accounting, client capabilities network, technology & development, finance, corporate tax, HR/people functions among various others. You will also provide HR support for McKinsey Digital Labs teams with approximately 150 colleagues, based out of pan-India locations.
What You’ll Do
You will perform a variety of on-site administrative duties that collectively contribute to the Office Services function in the Bangalore location.
You will be facilitating transportation for McKinsey Global Services colleagues, creating transport schedules for daily needs, and managing colleagues’ queries. You will be responsible for conducting transport supplier briefing sessions and vehicle compliance. You will be responsible for monitoring daily shift-based transport schedules & generating routes for business hours, maintaining transport service quality for on-time deployment, creating transport profiles for new colleagues, and providing orientation on the usage of transport tools (Eg. MoveInSync). Manage queries related to transport and travel desk, monitor daily operations on the ground, and identify areas of improvement. you will be responsible for providing logistics support for both internal & external events.
In addition, you will provide backup support for other Office Services roles in this location like maintaining supply inventory (e.g., office supplies, printer toner, business cards, etc), and processing purchase orders as appropriate. You will oversee mailroom, including processing/sorting mail, preparing packages for shipment, and operating mailroom equipment. Coordinate catering for on-site catering events and meetings, including assisting clients/visitors and maintaining kitchen/food/beverage supplies, as needed
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience, ideally in a professional services environment
- Attention to detail, creativity, and passion for providing outstanding customer service/experience is required.
- Outstanding efficiency and effectiveness of administrative processes; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong initiative and positive attitude (proactive, collaborative, service-minded)
- Excitement to cultivate strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors; energized by working in a collaborative team environment but demonstrates an ability to work independently
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to speak fluently in Kannada
- Working knowledge of employee transport tools will be a added benefit.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with the utmost sensitivity
- Expertise in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook preferred; ability to learn other applications.
