McKinsey & Company Looking For Receptionist at Chennai, Tamil Nadu Full Time
Who You’ll Work With
As a Receptionist at the Chennai office, you will be a part of the India reception team and the first point of contact for firm members, visitors and new hires, you will be their go to person for queries or information.
Apart from your duties at the front desk as listed below, you will also be supporting the Chennai Administration in day-to-day operations including event support and any other ancillary task that may be required for the smooth functioning of the office.
You will be working with the India Reception team lead, the Chennai Office Services team lead, the Office Services Manager based out of Gurgaon and collaborating extensively with the Reception and Office services teams based out of other locations.
What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for answering, screening, forwarding and connecting phone calls as well as greeting, attending to visitors, helping them with information and issuing Visitor’s badges.
You will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming, professional reception area that reflects McKinsey standards. You will book of conference rooms, partner offices and team rooms. You will be responsible for issuing, Activation/Deactivation of Access Cards and maintenance of detailed tracker and inventory. You will be disbursing IT Accessories through “Quick ship”.
You will be responsible for preparing Visa Letters. You will be responsible for stocking and maintaining the Office Medical Kit and renewing vendor contracts on a timely basis .
You will be responsible for timely verification and submission of bills as per contract. You will be collaborating with the local Office Services team on tasks including but not limited to arranging Food and Beverages for office/meetings, support for intra office connectivity and other office events, drafting communication, managing stationery, courier, office upkeep and other support as and when required.
Qualifications
- Graduate university degree
- 2+ years in a similar role in the hospitality industry or in a multi-national company
- Well-groomed with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a team environment
- High level of Service orientation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
