We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain Linux and Desktop’s, upgrade and manage our software, hardware, and networks.

Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.

Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Qualification – B. Tech (Computers)/B.E. (Computers)/BCA/MCA/B.Sc. (Computers)

Certifications – Redhat / Exposure on Cloud computing Amazon Cloud (AWS), Rackspace & Google Cloud

Experience Range – 2 to 5 years
Responsibilities :Installation and configuration of networked hardware and software componentsManage network servers and technology toolsSet up accounts and workstationsPerform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.Troubleshoot issues and outagesEnsure security through access controls and firewallsPerform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate mediaUpgrade systems with new releases and modelsDevelop expertise to train staff on new technologiesBuild an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policiesRequirements:Proven experience as a System Administrator & Network AdministratorManaging web and database servers on RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu.Well versed with apache, nginx, php, MySQL configuration.Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch managementKnowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recoveryMust have in depth understanding of scripting (Shell/Perl/Python/Ruby/Bash)Understanding of automation & monitoring concepts and tools.Familiarity with various operating systems and platformsResourcefulness and problem-solving aptitudeExcellent communication skills
