Job Description: Senior Manager – Human Resources (Recruitment)

Position Overview:

Meril Lifesciences is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager – HR (Recruitment) to lead and manage the recruitment function across business verticals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end talent acquisition strategy, team leadership, stakeholder management, and ensuring a seamless hiring experience aligned with the organization’s growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the recruitment team to fulfill talent needs across the organization (Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, Corporate, and Medical Devices divisions).
• Drive end-to-end recruitment lifecycle: manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, onboarding, and analytics.
• Collaborate with business heads and HRBPs to understand workforce requirements and proactively plan recruitment strategies.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for key and niche roles using internal and external sourcing channels.
• Analyze recruitment metrics and trends to continuously improve hiring efficiency, quality, and candidate experience.
• Implement best practices in recruitment operations, including ATS usage, process documentation, and compliance.
• Develop employer branding strategies in collaboration with marketing and communication teams to enhance Meril’s visibility in the talent market.
• Lead campus hiring, lateral hiring, and leadership hiring programs effectively.
• Mentor, train, and upskill the recruitment team to achieve performance goals and ensure high team engagement.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institute.
• 11+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical devices industry.
• Proven experience in leading recruitment teams and managing large-scale hiring across functions.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with recruitment tools and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
