Merrin & Associates Looking For Director of Pricing Strategy at Bengaluru, Karnataka, Full Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement company’s business processes and best practices for value-based assessment and pricing in specific regions.
• Identify and quantify differentiation in customer applications compared to competing solutions.
• Create appealing value propositions by converting value differentiation into economic and commercial proposals.
• Communicate value differentiation to customers and explore alternative business models to optimize value.
• Participate in contract negotiations with regional sales teams to secure fair pricing for products and services.
• Collaborate on regional pricing formulation for all products and services with various internal teams.
• Oversee competitive intelligence gathering related to industry dynamics, competitive conditions, and business needs.
• Manage pricing communication and competitive intelligence channels.
• Prepare written and oral presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support regional sales teams in responding to pricing requests (RFPs).
• Collaborate with Policy & Government Relation teams to evaluate green hydrogen incentives worldwide.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Provide feedback to R&D and product teams regarding new differentiated features for different applications.

Location, Travel, and Work Environment:

• Work location is the company’s office in Bangalore, India.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, at least 30% of the time.
• Compliance with the company’s Vaccination Policy.

Formal Education, Certifications, or Equivalent:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, business, engineering) or equivalent education, training, and experience.

Work Experience:

• Experience in the hydrogen industry, hydrogen equipment supply and installation, and hydrogen operation and maintenance is highly valued.
• Ten years of progressive experience in analytics, metrics, and recommendations.
• Financial modeling expertise, preferably from banking, consulting, or project finance.
• Experience with total cost of ownership analytics and related concepts.
• Experience with pricing processes or similar business processes preferred.
• Experience in a management/team leader role with a track record of coaching and mentoring team members.
• Experience with data access tools and building visualizations based on large datasets and multiple data sources is preferred.
