Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Director R&D you will be responsible for:

Identifying innovation trends and business opportunities within the market.

Leading the new product and technology introduction process / strategy.

Managing the product portfolio life cycle including development, validation, launch and execution activities in support of the business strategy.

Managing and owning R&D and phase gate projects to address issues and ensures product line concepts are developed and implemented.

Performing detailed evaluations of internal & external technologies to ensure world-class technology development and utilization via various bench marking activities.

Meeting with stakeholders at different levels to identify areas of innovation and growth

Acting as the technical interface with all internal and external clients and help drive advancement of the Resins technology.

Providing leadership to ensure that all new technology innovations / intellectual property is protected and appropriately defended in the marketplace

Evangelizing innovation internally and externally to influence the brand in the market and create pull for creative talent

The Successful Applicant

Ideally you have a bachelor’s degree in science/engineering and experience in new product development. You can inspire others and take accountability for an innovation pipeline by championing and discerning new and creative approaches. You have excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills.
