About Our Client
Our Client is one of the leading manufacturers of advanced auto – components for automobile industry.
Founded 2 decades ago, the company has been manufacturing wide range of components for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, two wheelers, three wheelers and tractor segment.
Our client is setting up a JV with a UK based manufacturing company which specialises in propulsion motors for a broad range of electric vehicles (EVs). They have already started the development work for the manufacturing plant based in Gurgaon.
The key products to be manufactured will be BLDC motors, Flux Motors etc and testing is being done internationally to ensure the compatibility with the vehicles being produced in India.
2W, 3W, 4W OEMs will be the key customers for this JV company.

Job Description
Following are the key responsibilities of this role:–
Business Development:
Work with the board to identify and grow new customers.
P&L Responsibility.
Leading a growing team of experts (domestic + international).
Coordinate with our client’s financial team which will handle the HR, financial, and legal for the India-based new JV company.
Customer Engagement:
Oversee Pilot Launches
Conversion of Launches to Business
Build Operational team and operationalize the project
Project Management / Technical:
Oversee and pull the team together to complete the development of the project in Gurgaon.
The Successful Applicant
BE Mech/ Electrical from a reputed institute
MBA Strategy/ Operations Management is preferred
Project Management experience.
Background of Electric Motors/ BLDC Motors/ Flux motors
Technical & software experience
Business Development, sales & marketing
Start-up/entrepreneurial approach
Able to communicate well in English and engage as bridge to UK
