Our client is a leading player in the Indian architectural space. They have shown significant growth in the last few years and are constantly looking to build their marketing team. They are well equipped with an in-house R&D centre which supports multiple manufacturing units in India as well as abroad. They are looking to hire a Government Project Head who will initiate and lead marketing activities for government projects, specifically in defence.

Job Description

Reporting to the Promoter, following are the key responsibilities of this role:-

1) Will harness past contacts within government agencies such as PWD and specifically the defence sector to pitch products for our client and grow the business.

2) Participate in government/defence tenders and ensure that our client is competitively placed in all the relevant tenders so as to gain market share.

3) Establish contacts with key people in government/defence organisations and setup business development meetings that can be attended by the promoters.

4) Manage revenue in upwards of 20Cr and scale it up considerably by securing government/defence tenders.

5) Work in individual capacity and having direct reporting to the promoters.

The Successful Applicant

1) Should possess extensive network within government agencies such as PWD & specifically defence, wherein our client’s product portfolio can be pitched.

2) Should have has managed a revenue of 50 to 80 Cr in his past roles.

3) Should be a peoples person and have great interpersonal skills.

4) A go-getter and can work in a fast paced results oriented environment.

5) Excellent verbal and written English communications skills.

6) Preferably should have prior knowledge of the architectural hardware industry.

7) Have experience of selling to defence and government agencies in the past.
