Job Description

As a Linux & Storage Administrator, the position will monitor and support day to day changes on multiple OEM hardware like HP and Dell Servers, NetApp and 3PAR storage, NetBackup appliance, Veeam, Exagrid and various SAN switches and related administration software deployed across the Globe. This position will work on various flavors and versions of Linux. This position will work closely with Global Datacenter Infrastructure group as part of the IT Shared services. This position demands that the candidate has understanding of enterprise environment and proficient with Unix and Storage technology and concepts. Must have working knowledge on at least one of the technologies out of Linux, HP-UX, NetApp storage

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline

Min 3 years of experience in enterprise environment

RHCE / NetApp certification or equivalent

Experience/understanding of Enterprise working environment strongly preferred

Expert knowledge of Linux/Unix or Storage technology and concepts

Demonstrated experience with datacenter management and working on varied OEM products.

Experience with datacenter monitoring products

Work on day to day run and maintenance activities and documenting changes

Candidates with working experience on on hybrid infrastructure and consolidation preferred
