The Graphics Web Platform team has a broad mission to deliver the Graphical Content Components (GC2) platform to enable high-fidelity rendering and editing of graphical components across the M365 ecosystem of web applications.

We have ambitious goals to bring compelling graphics experiences across the flagship Office web applications and beyond. GC2 platform provides shared web components for shapes, pictures, connectors, video, ink and more built using modern industry-standard web technologies like Typescript, WebGL and SVG. As part of the team, you will work collaboratively with other teams to design, build, validate, deliver and iterate on modern web components that will form the basis of our shared graphics web platform. You will work closely across disciplines to enable rich scenarios and delight Microsoft customers in areas such as pictures, shapes, 3D and more across our offerings in Office and beyond. Engineers are expected to work from design through release with a proven track record of delivering reliable, high-quality solutions to difficult technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• · Write high quality code using Typescript/JavaScript and React/Redux frameworks, including automated unit and integration tests.

• · Own and deliver features, including design, architecture, implementation, testability and debugging.

• · Work closely with Product Management and Design disciplines to shape the Graphics Web Platform.

• · Work well both independently and collectively in a team environment.

Qualifications

Required:

• · Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.

• · 3+ years of software development experience (HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, .NET preferred)

• · Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms

• · Programming experience in C#, .NET, JavaScript, React, or similar programming languages or platforms.

Preferred:

• · Experience developing and running web services at scale

• · HTML 5 and JavaScript/Typescript expertise and familiarity with current UX frameworks – React, Redux, Angular

• · Strong design, problem solving, and coding skills

• · Self-driven, pro-active, results-oriented and ability to work with minimal direction

• · Track record of delivering products, features and functionality on time, at extremely high quality
