Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and refining ML systems, big data analysis, staying abreast of the latest advancements in large language models.
• Thinking strategically like a product-oriented data scientist, understanding the broader business context and customer needs.
• Assisting in deploying ML models to production, with an emphasis on MLOps.
• Conducting thorough testing and evaluation of model performance to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Overseeing the lifecycle of models from data analysis,creation to deployment, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Collaborating closely with product development and engineering teams to ensure high-quality design and architecture.
• Mentoring and supporting the growth of colleagues in the field of data science, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
• Actively participating in creating and executing quality plans, test strategies, and processes.
• Being self-driven, curious, proactive, and result-oriented.

Qualifications:Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in the data science field, proficient in languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Strong experience in agile teams with a customer-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and cross-group collaboration skills.
• Experience in Azure or other cloud and distributed systems is highly valued.
• Familiarity with advancements in large language models.
• Experience in big data analysis.
• Ability to think and operate as a product-oriented data scientist.
• Understanding of MLOps for deploying ML models to production.
• Proven ability to test and evaluate model performance.

Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

• OR Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science,
• OR related field AND 5+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)
• OR equivalent experience.
