Thisposition withML Lifecycle Team is responsible for delivering on this promise by enabling a cohesive ML experienceleveragingAI Framework, AI infrastructures, and AI semantic aware workflow to power theend-to-endML lifecycle experience. You will have the opportunity to work with theleadingAI research, OSScommunity, in-house AI research, AI frameworkand data science community. You will get to influence and integrate with the latest hardware, and distributed infrastructures to provide a turnkey managed experience to power some of the industry’s largest AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Build, deliver, and support high-quality distributed services, infrastructures, and components to power the ML experience.
• Partner with the company’s Data Science community and across the industry to inspire, learn, and streamline their ML experience.
• Partner effectively with functional leader counterparts (EN, PM, Design) across AML and outside of our division (e.g.,Bing, Office) to ensure ongoing alignment, engineering dependencies, and build solutions for other groups.
• Provide technical leadership, vision, and manage relationships and requirements with downstream platformteams.
• Drive product execution with clarity, including translating abstract problem statement into a high-quality product strategy and design.
• Lead, attract, grow, and retain strong talent.

Qualifications

• A Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical IT work experience is required.
• 10+ years of hands-on engineering experience (both as engineer and manager) working through the full product cycle from initial architecture design to final product delivery and support.
• 5+ years of leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and build results-oriented large (10+) development teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in building large scale GA service and platform.
• Experience with AI platforms, frameworks, and data science is preferred but not required.
• Experience with shipping software in SaaS model.
• Experience working for international corporations (like Microsoft) is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to create a supportive work environment for career and personal development.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written English communication skills, including communication with executives overseas.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
