Job Description

We are seeking a self-driven, creative, and detail-oriented communications and marketing professional who is excited by the prospect of contributing to a positive change in mental health access and care across India.

You will lead our community engagement and communications efforts across the online platforms as well as develop communication for social change programs.

Your role as the Principal – Communications and Marketing will involve:

Ownership of Digital Presence – Strategic Planning and Implementation:

• Developing long and short-term digital marketing & branding strategy and setting up systems & processes for effective, engaging, and measurable execution of the plan
• Managing Mind Piper’s online presence on various platforms including (but not limited to) Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and website to drive actionable conversations around mental health and Mind Piper’s work
• Tracking, understanding, and reporting the metrics across all communications channels using tools such as Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, etc and drawing insights from the data to develop effective marketing & communication practices
• End-to-end management of creative and impactful online campaigns, curating multimedia content that aligns with the mission and values of Mind Piper, and maintaining a digital activity schedule for releasing the same.

Meaningful Community Development and Engagement:

• Building, sustaining and nourishing our digital communities through active engagement with the stakeholders and development of bespoke communication campaigns by listening and understanding the needs of our audience
• Amplifying Mind Piper’s brand and mission by developing engaging multimedia content including written, audio-visual, and static posts

Leading, Developing, and Experimenting at Mind Piper:

• Leading associates, interns, and volunteers to ensure timely completion of the action plan as well as smooth day-to-day operations across the Communications and Marketing vertical
• Participating in and leading the recruitment efforts for associate / interns & volunteer positions, communications and community engagement programs such as events, and other core organisational operations
• Collaborating with the internal mental health team and external mental health professionals & stakeholders to draw business insights and integrate them into our digital presence

Qualifications

What you will need:

• At least 2.5+ years of relevant full-time experience in digital marketing / media and communications / PR & advertising with a strong social media proficiency, particularly within the professional context
• Excellent communications skills in English and Hindi (both written and verbal), good designing and editing skills, and the ability to tailor marketing-communication-branding materials for different digital audiences
• Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in the design & execution of digital marketing campaigns, branding, and using digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, Canva, Google Ads, SEMRush, etc.
• Storytelling skills to weave a captivating story, and telling the impact story in an authentic and compelling way
• Deep interest, curiosity, and desire to positively contribute to the mental health sector and sensitivity & thoughtfulness when communicating with people experiencing mental health concerns

Additional Information

The position is a full-time role requiring a commitment of at least 2 years, and a willingness to relocate to Delhi by December 2021.
