JOB FAMILY SUMMARY:
Have a hand in almost every aspect of the product lifecycle, from research, ideation, conceptualization to implementation. Design wireframes, task flows, prototypes and specifications for creating and enhancing the look, feel, experience and functionality of features and services for company products. Work collaboratively and build partnerships with different teams across the organization including marketing, user research, content strategy, product management, and product development in order to effectively problem solve. Give and solicit feedback from designers and cross-disciplinary partners. Communicate and present to key stakeholders regarding user needs and design solutions. JOB SUMMARY:
The Product Designer works cross-functionally to create workflows, touchpoints, and concepts that strike the balance between customer needs and business objectives. This role iterates, tests, and gathers stakeholder feedback to deliver elegant and intuitive designs for our B2B and B2C products. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, an attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit across departments and crafts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• BA/BS degree with an emphasis in Design, HCI, Human Factors or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years’ experience designing products
• A user-centered approach to product development—a strong understanding of best-in-class design principles as well as a natural curiosity around the latest industry trends
• Experience with teams that have created new products as well as improved existing ones – and a track record for making measurable improvements
• Experience creating a variety of UX documents (personas, wireframes, story mapping, etc.) and an understanding of when/if they should be used
• Experience participating in design studios, ideation sessions, journey mapping during the product design process, using design-thinking methodologies
• Demonstrates and articulates an understanding of layout, typography and visual hierarchy

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivering compelling and meaningful workflows and specifications through wireframes and prototypes
• Articulate complex visions through simple, elegant, easy-to-use designs
• Collaborate with other Product Designers, UX Writers, Product Owners, Developers, and Researchers
• Build strong recommendations based off user research, expertise, customer data, and industry trends
• Work on multiple projects at the same time and have a deep understanding of the product ecosystem

• Use strong communication skills to manage your time, setting expectations with peers and stakeholders
• Leverage your Senior Design partners and managers for support and removing roadblocks
• Ensure brand consistency across touchpoints—helping to manage the Product Design team’s design specifications, including standards, toolkits, and style guides
• Document requirements and explain the expectations around an interaction
• Translate quantitative & qualitative insights into design decisions
• Ensure aesthetic consistency, brand identity, and best-in-class interaction design throughout all customer touchpoints
• Structure content in a clear and logical way, ensuring it is easy for users to find what they are looking for
• All other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• This role regularly utilizes a computer, including the use of a monitor, mouse and keyboard.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.

SCOPE OF SUPERVISION/AUTHORITY:
Duties are performed under limited supervision. Often responsible for planning and organizing their own work, which may or may not be directly related to general business operations of the company or its customers. Will receive training and guidance from manager as needed. Individual contributors may be required to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance depending on the nature of the position. No direct management responsibility.
