JOB SUMMARYWe are looking for an experienced Social Media Specialist to join our team and support Mitchell USA’s social media strategy – from identifying trends and curating content to driving engagement, monitoring analytics, and deriving actionable insights – to scale up our social media program, grow our follower base and develop stronger brand equity.YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED2 – 4 yearsREQUIREMENTS

• Exceptional understanding of social media and digital content

• Strong understanding of native social media platforms and interfaces for managing company pages/groups

• Working knowledge of Social Listening tools, Social Advocacy/Community Management platforms, and Google Analytics

• Good communication skills and familiarity with American English, its idioms, socio-cultural dialogues, and writing styles

• Ability to multi-task, manage diverse projects and meet tight deadlines

• Collaborative team player comfortable working in a rapidly changing, cross-functional business environment

• Basic knowledge of running sponsored social media ad campaigns, and paid search.

• Proven experience in growing YouTube channels in terms of content, brand associations/partnerships, and subscribers

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support planning, execution, and reporting for key social media programs (Social Listening, Advocacy and Influencer Marketing, Community Management, Blog Promotion)

• Co-manage brand presence and drive follower growth on major digital networks (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Quora)

• Monitor traction on owned media channels, measure performance of posts (impressions, engagement, audience reach, and other metrics) and derive insights to shape future strategy

• Respond and react to changes within social networks w.r.t functionality, methods of engagement, interface modifications, etc.

• Collaborate with the design, web, events, public relations, and editorial teams to plan, develop and schedule social media campaigns

• Support the creation of social media content: coordinate with internal stakeholders to brainstorm new ideas and creative concepts, draft market-ready copy for social media updates, and ensure quality control protocols are followed before publishing

• Support planning, organization, execution, and reporting for virtual events across social media channels (LinkedIn Live, Facebook Live, etc.)

• Keep track of the latest trends in the social media landscape and periodically review tools, solutions, and capabilities available in the market
