MKS Instruments Hiring for Process Operator at Manesar, Haryana, India Full Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Production Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining equipment, and adhering to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing operations, troubleshooting equipment issues, and executing production according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and report equipment problems, coordinating maintenance with engineers and escalating issues as needed.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g., tightening flanges, replacing pH probes, changing pressure gauges) with approval and in compliance with safety protocols.
• Document equipment issues accurately to support timely investigation and resolution under the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) process.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping on batch documentation and provide clear handovers.
• Take ownership of personal training and development, actively working with the Team Leader to achieve training targets.
• Identify safety-critical issues and take appropriate action, including escalation where necessary.
• Manufacture a variety of products in accordance with SOPs, ensuring adherence to production quality standards.
• Become fully competent in at least two production processes, with an expectation to expand knowledge over time.
• Select and dispense required materials, operate equipment, and adjust processes as necessary.
• Execute production activities with responsibility for paperwork completion and accurate data entry.
• Clean and maintain equipment per established procedures, reporting any deviations or issues.
• Maintain high safety standards while actively monitoring plant operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or pharmaceutical production environment is preferred.
• Understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to document issues clearly.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
• Basic troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to undertake training and continuous skill development.

• May require working in shifts and rotating schedules based on operational needs.
