Compass India has been expediting software engineering and development across the fields of Mobile Apps, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation and Data analytics. The team has played an integral role in the launch of new features in the Compass platform for CRM, marketing, client service, 3D virtual tours, and more. We started the Compass India Development Center in 2019 and have tripled the size of our Product and Engineering teams and continue to grow.
Know your team:
This role will help oversee lease administration across a portfolio of over 500 leases, coordinating and driving the central processing (via abstraction, translation, reconciliation, auditing, quality control and reporting) of critical lease information into the lease management system through internal and external resources. You will act as a liaison between the Legal, Finance, and Real Estate departments
At Compass, you will:
Manage a team of lease administrators
Help prepare monthly rent roll, variance reports, and ad-hoc invoices
Assist with abstraction of lease documents, including leases, amendments, terminations, assignments, etc. and review of abstracts by other lease administrators.
Ensure all recently signed leases, amendments, and associated lease correspondences are correctly abstracted and uploaded into our tracking system.
Work with third-party lease auditors to ensure proper operating charges
Perform desktop audit and OPX/RET expense reconciliations
What we look for:
Minimum 5-7 years of lease administration experience.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Management experience
Experience working with Lease Admin software required, Visual Lease preferred.
Experience working with Accounting software, Netsuite preferred.
Knowledge of GAAP accounting and experience with SOX compliance preferred.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
Highly proficient with MS software (Word, Excel).
Self-starter, positive attitude, zero ego, and ability to problem-solve under minimal supervision.
Strong communication and organizational skills, and impeccable attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks within an open and interactive environment.
Proactive, always seeking additional responsibility.
Demonstrated ability to build and improve processes and procedures.
