Wealth Management Technology

Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.

Job Profile :

**Work as part of a Data and Risk Agile Squad/Fleet, on QA processes for Data and Risk work stream(s) with heavy focus on execution of automation with various automation tools and techniques.
* Develop Automation Frameworks, and automate testcases ensure comprehensive coverage primarily towards DB Backend testing
* Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
* Record and document debugging procedures.
* Track test metrics, such as test coverage, defect densities, and open defect counts, to gain and share insights about quality issues.
* Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases following company standards within required timeframes
* Perform thorough manual regression testing when technical issues are resolved and know how to automate those tests.
* Design tests based on Agile specifications for functionality and expected behavior

• Primary skills*

**3 – 5 years of proven work experience as QA with an emphasis on QA automation.
* Demonstrated experience in developing Backend Test Automation Frameworks and tools using Python
* Hands-on experience in UI Automation using tools like selenium or protractor or cypress
* Proficiency in automating end to end tests spanning the whole system from front end to backend/database with experience in all test phases including functional, integration and system, and regression testing
* Experience in DB testing and DB test automation with solid understanding of Relational Databases such as Teradata and DB2
* Familiarity in Agile methodology and Devops with Integrating automated tests in Continuous Integration and Delivery pipeline

Good to have skills

**Understanding of HTTP and RESTful APIs and experience in API Test Automation using tools such as JMeter or RESTAssured
* Working knowledge in TDD/BDD based test automation frameworks
