Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for Morgan Stanley supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of Morgan Stanley’s software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications. ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of employees. Job Profile

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities will include input into and development of the UI/UX designs that produce the visual elements of applications.
• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimise applications for accessibility, speed and scalability

Skill Set

Required Skills

• Front end development with experience writing custom JavaScript, HTML, CSS and jQuery of at least 5 years.
• A solid understanding of responsive design and best practices
• Developing all projects with UX/UI in mind.
• Developing for both mobile and desktop with a “mobile first” mentality.
• Strong technical ability to develop designs into efficient and reusable code.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Experience of Bootstrap (desirable).
• Experience with a Javascript front-end framework .
• Experience with a CSS processor.
• Experience with Python, REST API and Databases.
• Automating tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Working in an agile development team.

Qualifications/Criterion

Qualification: – Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent combination of professional training and experience.
