Dept/Role:

Client Analytics is revenue generating platform that provides a suite of applications to Hedge Funds primarily for performance analytics, real-time what-if multi-factor analysis, custom attribution, FX Exposure analysis with the ability to create hedges, real time PnL and extensive reporting. Clients rely heavily on this platform to gain insights in to their portfolio to devise investment strategy, mitigate risks and compensate their analysts.

The platform extensively uses Java, Scala, Spark, R, distributed caching, latest UI technologies with heavy use of Multithreading and continues to evolve towards a cloud native microservices based architecture

Job Responsibilities:

– Drive and contribute in the technical agenda of the team
– Create multithreaded low latency core calculator engine with support for high volumes
– Design and develop Microservices and the mesh
– Manage and provide technical mentorship to junior members of the team
– Willingness to adopt and promote Agile practices
– Interact with business users to capture requirements and drive their agenda.

Qualifications

Skills Required:

– 9-12 years
– Very strong in Core Java
– Must be hands on in Multithreading with strong grasp of concepts
– Desire and ability to solve complex problems
– Practices and promotes testing and good development practices
– DB2/Sybase
– Git
– Angular & Scala-Preferred
– In-memory databases (Redis, Hazelcast, Memcached etc)
– DevOps Concepts
– Experience in the Finance domain
– Strong verbal and written communication
– Ability to mentor/manage junior developers
Education: Any Graduate
