MongoDB Developer

with 7 To 10 years of experience to design, optimize, and maintain scalable database solutions. The role involves upgrading databases, optimizing schemas, improving performance using MongoDB’s aggregation framework, and integrating MongoDB with other systems. You will also assist in resolving performance issues, develop RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Strong expertise in MongoDB, NoSQL databases, data modeling, and API development is required.

Responsibilities:

Upgrade databases through patches.
Understand and convert company needs into technical specifications and creating scalable solutions using MongoDB.
Optimize database schema designs, ensuring data integrity, and promoting best practices to enhance the overall performance, security and scalability of MongoDB solutions.
Assist developers in identifying and resolving performance issues by utilizing Mongo Profiler to profile and fine-tune database queries and operations.
Leverage performance optimization techniques by implementing proper indexes, including B-Tree, Geospatial, and Text indexes, to enhance query performance and overall system efficiency.
Utilize MongoDB’s aggregation framework to perform complex data operations and transformations.
Integrate MongoDB with other applications and systems to ensure seamless data flow.
Good to have a good knowledge of Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs to interact with MongoDB databases.
Troubleshoot and debug database performance, availability, and scalability issues.
Stay updated with the latest MongoDB advancements, features, and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and product managers, to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Document database design, architecture, and implementation processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
7 – 10 years of experience as a

Experience in developing and maintaining

RESTful APIs.

Strong knowledge of MongoDB’s

aggregation framework.

Strong knowledge of

data modelling and database optimization

techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
