About the Role

Position Title: Software Developer

Skillset: Red Hat Open Shift, Kubernetes, Docker, Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP Services, JSON, Micro Services, React, Angular,, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Jenkins,, JPA, Hibernate,Splunk monitoring tool, Secure Coding practices

• Overall, 8-12 years of IT experience with 5+ years in Java programming, including popular open-source libraries and frameworks like Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate
• Must have 3 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes (Preferably OpenShift) Platform and Dockers technology.
• Must have 2+ years of experience in developing Microservices
• Experience programming with HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, and mainstream front-end frameworks (Angular, React)
• Proficiency in the general areas: Jenkins, BitBucket, and Github, ArgoCD, and Tekton pipeline
• Applied knowledge of API Development using REST/SOAP
• Experience with relational database technologies: Oracle and MS SQL Server
• Experience with streaming platforms such as IBM MQ(good to have)
• Experience with the CI/CD pipeline process
• Preferred:Certified Kubernetes Application Developer
• Experience with AWS is a plus
• Familiar with Agile, Waterfall development methodology
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
