Mission-
This role plays a crucial part in NPCI’s efforts to maintain its leadership in the digital payments industry. It requires an analytical thinker enthusiastic about consumer behavior, innovative research methodologies, and NPCI’s mission to drive India’s digital payments ecosystem.
Job Purpose-
To lead consumer insights and research initiatives for NPCI products like UPI, RuPay, NETC, and others, leveraging innovative research technologies to enhance corporate branding, develop innovative solutions, and position NPCI as a leader in the digital payments’ ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities-
1. Consumer-Centric Research Initiatives:
– Drive in-house research for NPCI’s product suite, including UPI, RuPay, NETC, AePS, and other offerings, to identify market opportunities and consumer pain points.
– Apply traditional & modern research technologies (such as AI-driven analytics, online communities, and digital panels), to capture actionable consumer insights efficiently.
– Lead research to evaluate the effectiveness of NPCI’s brand campaigns and recommend strategies and insights for improving the metrics across the funnel.
2. New-Age Research Technologies:
– Explore and implement innovative research methodologies, predictive analytics, and behavioral science techniques.
– Leverage data and real-time consumer feedback for agile decision-making.
3. Collaborating with Research Agencies:
– Manage qualitative and quantitative research projects with external agencies, ensuring robust insights from briefing to delivery.
– Use partnerships with leading research firms to benchmark NPCI products against global standards and identify trends.
4. Internal and External Stakeholder Management:
– Serve as a critical link between consumers, research agencies, and cross functional teams .
– Ensure insights are integrated into product innovation, marketing campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
5. Support Corporate Branding and Strategic Decision-Making:
– Conduct brand health studies to evaluate NPCI’s positioning in the payments industry and identify areas for improvement.
– Provide consumer insights that guide brand campaigns, partnerships, and marketing efforts.
– Generate strategic reports for senior leadership, helping them make informed decisions to drive NPCI’s mission and goals.
