Join us as we stand up the Operations Centre of Expertise, driving our One Bank Operations strategy and transforming the operational capability across the bank
Working in partnership with Operations teams across the bank, including Customer, Colleague, Contact and Processing, as well as Data & Analytics, you’ll define our Operations data strategy, framework and requirements to provide One Bank Operations data solutions across our operational teams
Drawing on your expertise of Agile methodologies and your passion for innovation, you’ll be making a key contribution to our team culture

What you’ll do
As a Product Owner, you’ll bring the point of view of our customers, end users or stakeholders to the forefront of understanding the product vision. We’ll also look to you to make sure that stories and enablers meet the acceptance and quality criteria, keeping them in-line with the vision, features and programme increment objectives.
You’ll own a product vision and roadmap and contribute to the wider platform vision and roadmap, as well as frequently working with customers, stakeholders, teams or users, keeping them up to date and getting their feedback to help us shape the future of our business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Controlling and owning your team’s backlog content authority and helping break down features into stories and priorities
Making sure that the backlog is maintained, and that your delivery teams are collaborating frequently and effectively with customers or users to populate and refine the backlog
Working with enterprise architects and teams to understand and prioritise the enablers
Tracking and reporting progress, and attending any retrospective spanning all delivery teams that are involved with delivering the product
The skills you’ll need
We’re looking for a creative thinker and an established leader, with a good understanding of Agile methodologies and experience of working in an Agile team. You’ll need to be able to relate your everyday work to the broader strategic vision of your feature team, along with the ability to maintain a strong focus on business outcomes. And, you’ll have excellent communication and influencing skills.
Additionally, we’ll expect you to have:
Knowledge of product development and management techniques
Experience of changing team or department mind-sets, culture and structure
A background of working with delivery teams and knowledge of collaboration techniques
The ability to motivate, actively engage and communicate with colleagues at all levels
