Title: PPAP Review Engineer

Location: Mahindra World City, Chengalpet, India

Grade: 9

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility This position provides excellent experience and career path in manufacturing & production control. Primary responsibility of this position is to review the assigned PPAPs submitted by suppliers, taking right decision based on the information provided with the specifications / requirements stated in NCR designs. This engineer is responsible for compliance of the components to specifications & accountable to the approval offered in return

Responsibilities include:
Learning basic PPAP requirements

Review & Complete the assigned PPAPs on each day as per capacity

Closely work with the team to have cross-function reviews

Learning specifications & knowledge on all commodities

Should communicate with respective suppliers with proper details for all clarifications

Ensure proper updates on all IT systems for compliance

Effectively review exceptions

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

Basic Knowledge in Metrology

Good knowledge on drawings – 3D & 2D models

Proficient with software applications like MS Excel, MS Outlook, PLM and CAD systems

Written and verbal communications in English

Works well under pressure

Highly organized and ability to follow processes and procedures

Ability to understand the Engineering Change Management Process and PLM Release process
