Roles and Responsibility
:
Role: Technical Lead Preferred Experience: 5-7 years (Relevant 3-5 years) Skill: Java 1.6 and 1.7, MySQL

Roles and Responsibilities:

• 5-7 years of experience in web application and backend development
• Own and drive end-to-end development and operations of high-performance applications
• Participate in Designing and Architecture discussions, and provide suggestions based on industry best practices
• Understand the Requirements / User Stories and Design documentation, and convert them into reliable, efficient, quality programs / code
• Testing the programs to ensure Acceptance criteria and NFRs are met – Unit, Regression, Performance, Security testing etc.
• Involved in integration with overall architecture / system and deployments
• Good ability to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
• Recommend and execute improvements, value adds and innovative solutions to customer
• Create technical documentation, deployment instructions, and help Manager with reporting project status
• Ability to work both independently and as team player
• Lead, mentor, monitor and guide the SCRUM team throughout the journey and help them as needed
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Technical Skills required:

• Extensive knowledge in Java (preferably 1.6 and 1.7 versions)
• L3 support work – Enhancement and defect fixing
• Strong debugging skills and defect repro
• Good understanding of impact analysis
• Good understanding of OOPs concepts and Design patterns
• Experience in IDE Tools like Eclipse, Visual Studio and / or Zend studio or similar
• Experience in Code Versioning tools like GitHub, SVN, etc.
• Experience in evaluating requirements, design, database modeling, NFR requirements like performance, security
• Good to have: PHP, react JS, node.js

Timings:

• Graveyard shift – overlap until 5:00 PM ET required.

Qualification:

• Graduate in Engineering – Computer Science/Information Systems (Preferred)
