Responsibilities:
Deploy and configure SolarWinds software, modules, and agents to monitor the network, servers, applications, and other IT infrastructure components.

Set up monitoring policies and thresholds, monitor network and system performance, and configure alerts and notifications to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Investigate and troubleshoot any issues or incidents related to SolarWinds infrastructure and resolve them in a timely manner.

Analyze system performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of monitoring.

Assess the current and future needs of the organization’s IT infrastructure and recommend appropriate SolarWinds solutions to meet those requirements.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of SolarWinds infrastructure, including configurations, processes, and procedures.

Implement security best practices, including access controls, authentication mechanisms, and encryption, to protect the SolarWinds infrastructure and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Provide training and support to users, including IT staff and other stakeholders, on how to effectively use SolarWinds and interpret monitoring data.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in administering SolarWinds products and modules, such as SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM), Server & Application Monitor (SAM), Database Performance Analyzer (DPA), and others.

Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and IT infrastructure components, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.

Ability to identify and resolve issues related to network and system performance using SolarWinds tools and other diagnostic techniques.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze monitoring data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations for optimization.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, gather requirements, and provide support and training.

Proficient in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures within SolarWinds infrastructure.

Professional certifications related to SolarWinds administration, such as SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) or SolarWinds Certified Administrator (SCA), are desirable but not always required.
