Compliance Officer – Bahadurgarh NCR Delhi Campus

NICMAR is an independent, autonomous, non-government, non-profit entity incorporated in Mumbai.

JOB PURPOSE: The Compliance officer at our AICTE approved NICMAR NCR campus will be responsible for ensuring all regulatory requirements and internal policies set by AICTE and other relevant authorities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overseeing the entire compliance framework of the institute, encompassing both academic and non-academic aspects
• Ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements mandated by AICTE and other relevant bodies including those related to technical education, research and training
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop strategies to mitigate the same
• Liaise with AICTE, and other regulatory bodies to ensure continued compliance.
• Monitor compliance activities across the institution and report on the overall compliance status to senior leadership and relevant committees.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and monitor the same
• Organize workshops and training sessions for staff and students to sensitize AICTE norms and compliance requirements
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with AICTE guidelines and associated regulations
• Foster a culture of ethics and compliance within the institution community.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENT:

• Master’s degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior compliance role within higher education or a similar regulated industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian regulations governing higher education institutions, including those set forth by AICTE and relevant bodies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Professionalism and strong work ethic
