Job Description

Hands-on experience with Oracle, Postgres & MongoDB databases. Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL Install and maintain the performance of database servers. Manage database access & performance tuning of database systems. Install, upgrade, and manage database applications. Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors. Recommend and implement emerging database technologies. Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards. Knowledge in Real Application Cluster (RAC), Dataguard & ASM/Storage areas Experience with clustering technologies from different vendors Backup and Recovery, RMAN, knowledge of various restore and recovery scenarios. Fine-tune configurations – MongoDB and servers for performance improvement. Implement optimal backup and recovery. Understand and optimize query performance. Create and publish database health checks to monitoring systems for Identify slow queries, Memory usage, Locks etc.. Implementing best practices for backups, replication, and health checks. Design and implement DR plans & HA solutions and recommendations. Familiar with cloud implementations of DB as a Service. Familiar with huge data sets of data migration from one sever to other/On-premises to cloud etc.. Provide recommendations on data migration from one DB to other (Oracle to PG migration etc..)
