Engineer, Cyber -Identity Governance (IDG) – Azure IAM Administration, Pune – India.

We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Cybersecurity Engineer with a solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance (IDG) concepts and services, a strong background in Cloud, expertise in API development, and experience in Microsoft MFA, SSO, and Conditional Access. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive Identity Governance and Access Management solutions. This role will have Azure IAM hands-on engineering, and operational responsibilities as well as technical leadership and expert level troubleshooting duties. The candidate will be self-motivated, detailed orientated performer who wants to part of growing NIQ global IAM program.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage secure and compliant cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on IAM, IDG, and Cloud services preferable in Azure, such as Azure Web Applications, Logic Apps, Functions, Storage, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Artifact.
Develop, integrate, and secure APIs within Azure environments, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and leveraging Azure API Management for security, monitoring, and analytics.
Implement and manage Microsoft MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, B2B, B2C, and on-premise Active Directory.
Develop and maintain authentication/authorization solutions using SSO (SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 + OpenID Connect), and LDAP.
Implement and manage various Multi-Factor Authentication mechanisms across both mobile and desktop platforms (TOTP, SMS, FIDO, U2F, WebAuthn, EMAIL, Push MFA, etc.).
Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to protect sensitive information, systems, and applications within Azure environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security and compliance requirements are integrated throughout the software development lifecycle, with an emphasis on API development and deployment.
Provide subject matter expertise on IAM, IDG, Azure services, API development, and related security technologies and practices to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Perform risk assessments and security audits, and recommend appropriate security controls and improvements.
Assist in the development of security awareness training materials and programs for employees.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and best practices, and proactively apply this knowledge to enhance our security posture.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Physics, Science or similar desired – experience in government, military or in other capacities with similar focus can be substituted
A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years focused on IAM, IDG, Azure services, and API development.
Ability to incorporate automated processes within Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Demonstrated expertise in using Git for version control and collaboration.
Proficiency in leveraging Terraform and YAML to construct and manage cloud infrastructure.
In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps, Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, and related security tools and services.
Strong ability to work with Azure services, such as Logic Apps, Functions, Storage, Data Factory, Synapse, API Development, and Azure Pipelines.
Proven experience in API development and integration within Azure environments, with a deep understanding of API security best practices.
Experience with Microsoft MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, B2B, B2C, and on-premise Active Directory.
Familiarity with authentication/authorization, SSO (SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 + OpenID Connect), and LDAP.
Understanding of various Multi-Factor Authentication mechanisms across both mobile and desktop platforms (TOTP, SMS, FIDO, U2F, WebAuthn, EMAIL, Push MFA, etc.).
Broad understanding of the IAM cybersecurity landscape, including identity stores, authentication/authorization, strong authentication, and privileged access management capabilities and methodologies.
Working knowledge of coding with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with diverse stakeholders.
