Job Description

Urgently are looking for an Animation Artist to work in our production workflow, and under the direction of the Animation Lead, develop animation and movement for creatures, objects and characters for film and television productions.The Animation Artist will deliver the best short video storytelling that includes simple character and graphical animated videos. You will work with our team to convert ideas into graphical animated videos using Flash, Toon Boom, After Effects, or any other software of your choice.To be successful, you should be detail-oriented, flexible, and a good team player. -Create concept art for movable environment, props, and characters
-Ensuring character movements are fluid, free of glitches and believable
-Having a good understanding of every aspect of animation like body movement, facial expressions, emotions, mood, behaviours, personalities and attitudes of a character or object.
-Work with the Lead Animator to develop look and feel of character movements
-Maintain high quality and productivity according to the project’s requirements and should be able to deliver the assigned task within the deadlines
-A team player mentality with a ‘get it done’ attitude
-Ability to take direction and work in a team focused environment
-Troubleshooting any problems that arise during work on a project promptly and accurately.
-Meeting with Designers and Directors to discuss and review projects and deadlines.The Successful Applicant: -Certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree in Animation
-A strong portfolio of previous work and completed projects.
-Require minimum 1-5 years’ experience creating convincing performance and motion for live action feature film and television series
-Required strong sense of camera work and framing
-Strong working knowledge of industry-standard software, including Adobe Flash, Animate, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Toon Boom
-Good communication and teamwork skills.
-Excellent time management skills.
-A solid work ethic and a positive mindset
-A good balance of visual and technical skills
-Willingness to remain up-to-date on the latest creative software and hardware.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:
