The team you’ll be part of Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).You would be part of R&D in the RAN Network Management (RAN NM) organization, which is part of the MN RAN Business Unit. RAN NM is responsible for a suite of products for managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting of the Radio and Core telecom networks. The NM portfolio is moving towards next generation products based on the latest technologies aligned with the need of our customers. What you will learn and contribute to You would be woking with teams and driving the tranformations in coding and designing cloudnative SW development.You would be Accountable to create right tools and techniques that helps developer build in quality.You would be driving and supporting the team with refactoring and code transformation initiatives. As part of our team, you will:

• “Walk the talk” – Lead by example – Promote the right engineering practices and tools within the team (and across teams/sites)
• Mentoring and coaching devlopment teams on engineering practices and non-technical skills
• Be the goto person for all the model engineering practices like cloudnative desing and help the team with various testing tools and techniques
• Be accountable for code modularity, redability and quality

Your skills and experience Experience in developing SW You have:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in hands on SW design and development
• Good understanding of SW engineering practices, preferably in cloud environment
• Experience and understanding of DevOps practices and tools
• Language: Microservice development experience in GO or Java (2+ years exp)
• Worked on containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud native architecture, cloud security
• Experience with Minikube, HELM, Swagger
• Databases: Casandra, Maria DB,PostgreSQL,MariaDB
• Monitoring and Alerting: Promethues, Grafana
• Logging and Analysis: EFK stack (Elastic Search, FluentD, Kibana)

It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience in working on the Network Management domain
• Exposure to the NMS products
• Agile, DevOps, Scrum, Kanban Methodologies
• Knowledge on OpenStack
• Experience with shell / Python and Ansible
• Exposure to UI technologies – React and NodeJS
