Job Description

Under general supervision responsible for detection, eradication, and prevention of security threats in the NT environment and work with consultants and management for additional analytics on security threats. xe2x80xa2Conducts detailed reviews of malicious software to perform a cyber analysis and gain additional understanding of their threatsxe2x80xa2Provides recommendations for defining rules and malware signatures for enhanced detection and mitigation based on analysisxe2x80xa2Conducts cyber intelligence analysis, coordination, and interaction across the network and infrastructure componentsxe2x80xa2Provides recommendations and steps for eradication of malicious software and system recoveryxe2x80xa2Develop new tools or enhance existing tools for advanced detectionAssists in the incident response function with the analysis of malware and related security incidents as required
xe2x80xa2Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in an information security monitoring & response role in a large, complex environment. xe2x80xa2Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Computer Science or other IT related field. xe2x80xa2Solid understanding of the Cyber Incident Response Process & Life Cycle. xe2x80xa2Ability to conduct detailed security event analysis from network traffic attributes and host-based attributes (memory analysis, binary analysis, etc.)xe2x80xa2 Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently. xe2x80xa2Strong communication skills.
