NORWOOD INN & SUITES Hiring for Book-keeping and Payroll assistant at Surat Full Time

We are looking for a person with experience in payroll and/or accounting, who is hard worker and fast learner. The responsibilities will include running payroll, reconciling accounts, purchasing, and accounts payable. The ideal candidate will be required to Support the leadership in carrying out management and corporate accounting responsibilities by maintaining accurate financial information and related reporting, and ensuring internal controls are preserved. This role is 100% remote and working hours will be late evenings from home on weekdays (Monday to Friday) 8 hours per day. Net Salary will be Rupees 250 to 300 per hour depending on the candidate.

Basic job duties will include,

· Answering emails and voicemails

· Manage all accounting operations including billing, cost accounting, inventory accounting and revenue recognition.

· Assist in preparing month-end closing reports, Reconcile monthly cash journal to bank records

· Assist with multiple state registration process and filing requirements, assist in quarterly income tax payments.

· Bring strong financial stability through monthly and annual close processes, internal controls, cost discipline and forecasting accuracy.

• Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions.

• Ability to show flexibility in response to change and adapt to and accommodate new methods and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

· Self-starting personality with an even disposition, with an ability to work in a demanding, dynamic start-up environment

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal along with strong attention to detail

· Outstanding attention to detail, Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

· Must have worked in office or accounting environment, with skills of office organizer or account assistant.

Additional qualifications advantageous but not required

· Knowledgeable of payroll and accounting software.

· Working knowledge of accounting, payroll, purchasing.

Salary: ₹40,000.00 – ₹55,000.00 per month
