With this mission, we are setting up a Data as a Service team at Novartis Hyderabad, which would work with the Chief Digital Office, Novartis Business units and industry leading technology partners, to drive the execution of Novartis’ data strategy , turning its rich data resources into real strategic assets to drive actionable insights across the organization. This ambition is one of key pillars in the broader digital transformation happening at Novartis to be a ‘medicines and data science company.

Your Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Manage Novartis Strategy Community The project manager maintains the contact with the

divisional strategy teams and plans/organizes regular update meetings. In addition, the
project manager also leads small projects at any time from project scoping, creating
content and managing of stakeholders to generate insights and prepare outputs which enable
informed decisions.

• Prepare regular exchange between community members, e.g. independent organization of the

annual Strategy offsite meeting (including agenda, speakers, etc). Ensure transparent communication across the divisional Strategy teams.

• Support the managers and directors in project work and provide expert consultation during

all project phases. Align closely with stakeholders at country, functional and global level as defined by the requirements of the different projects and initiatives. Independently monitor milestones of the projects as well as completion.

• Assists Head of Strategy on larger strategy projects across units and functions as well as

countries. Take ownership for subparts of the overall project and ensure completion of
these. Proactively apply project management methodologies. Provide change management support and appropriate communications for the implementation of projects and initiatives.

• Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to

Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt. Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)

• Sr manager – Data Innovation will manage the day-to-day activities and strategic direction

of the DaaS Innovation and prototyping team.

• The role holder will be responsible for maintaining the managing a portfolio of products,

as well as co-ordination and managing the work of internal team, extensive collaboration with partners and business teams. The role holder will be key in delivering a number of innovation projects rapidly, utilizing skills within the unit and in the wider network of teams.

Minimum requirements
What You’ll bring to the role:

Essential:

• Bachelors/Masters/ PhD in Computer sciences/ IT / any other engineering or quantitative sciences with 10+ years of experience in global company as Data Manager / Engineering Manager
• Lead the day to day activities and strategic direction of the DaaS Innovation and prototyping team
• You will be responsible for maintaining the managing a portfolio of products, as well as co-ordination and managing the work of internal team, extensive collaboration with partners and business teams.
• The role holder will be key in delivering a number of innovation projects rapidly, utilizing skills within the unit and in the wider network of teams.

Desirable requirements:

• Experience in leading a Innovation project to final output
• Supervising performance against annual objectives and landmarks as in workplan
