366058BR Job ID: 366058BR Job Description: Novartis is embarking on an enterprise-wide Process Excellence journey and is setting up a Business Process Excellence (BPE) capability in CONEXTS, Operations. The goal is to build a focused capability that will work with the NVS business units to simplify NVS ways of working, improve efficiency, quality of outcomes and timeline adherence, providing a holistic view of key processes, and driving standardization and automation, as well as a culture of continuous improvement. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Deliver and Manage BPE Projects • Lead and manage the delivery of a BPE initiative in a business unit or program.Deliver personally on projects, through direct involvement and supervision.Lead BPE associates and act as coach of new / existing team members • Oversee management of a project through regular status reporting and stakeholder management.Build expertise in specific business units / programs Support GPOs and GSOs to optimize and evolve their activities • Work with DDIT colleagues to identify and implement automation opportunities • Report progress to BPE business unit level and manage risks and issues • Report progress against objectives and KPIs to the business unit board monthly.Manage risks and issues at the appropriate level • Build lasting capabilities in the business .Build BPE capabilities in the business units through the BPE projects • Facilitate knowledge transfer and job shadowing nnnn Position Title: Business Process Excellence Lead Minimum requirements: What you’ll bring to the role: Essential: • University degree.Further education and experience in Senior manager level experience in a consulting organization.Understanding of Novartis business and the Pharma industry • Shared services, outsourcing, global sourcing.o Lean & Six Sigma Certification (Master Black Belt). Project management, change management, agile • >10 years’ experience leading significant business process, organizational change, operating model and/or process improvement consulting projects.Must have managed consulting teams in an equivalent internal consulting organization or a major consulting company, including being accountable for proposals, delivery quality and offering development Desirable requirements: • Experience of regulated environments, particularly the impact in the pharmaceutical industry.l Experience in the area of capability development or learning is a distinct advantage. • P&L management in a consulting business.
