Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to • Responsible for overseeing and contributing to the development and implementation of Ethics Risk & Compliance/ Risk Resilience / Third Party Risk Management within the respective country, cluster division in alignment with the Company, Divisions, Organizational Units or Function strategy. Support ERC, Risk & Resilience BCM / NEM partners in their units to ensure the proper implementation of the respective strategies. • Major Accountabilities: Under leadership of the ERC leadership and in close co-ordination with Senior Business (e.g., Country Presidents) and Senior Representatives from other Functions (e.g., Internal Audit, BPO, Legal, Policy Custodians) • Drive robust implementation of the ERC Head role and provide support to Country Presidents -Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Country Compliance Heads and support local implementation activities using existing tools -Up-skill the capabilities of teams by providing training and conducting country visits. • Perform on-boarding of leaders and drive objective setting and performance management process of direct team -Develop and update supporting materials and tools -Support Country Presidents in x-divisional Compliance matters. • Support design of an effective Anti-Bribery / TPG framework and support robust implementation, upon request of Head ERC, Review and refine the Anti-Bribery / TPG strategy, policy, process and systems -Develop pragmatic tools to support the implementation of the anti-bribery framework via the divisions & develop presentations re the Anti-Bribery / TPG framework to Senior Management. • Provide strategic support and manage / contribute to Compliance Projects -Provide strategic support to Head ERC or Chief Ethics, Risk & Compliance Officer including managing / being an active team member of strategic Projects for a range of Compliance topics This role is responsible for overseeing and contributing to the development and implementation of Ethics Risk & Compliance/ Risk Resilience / Third Party Risk Mgmt. within the respective division in alignment with the Company, Divisions, Organizational Units or Function strategy. • This role supports the Country ERC Head, and Risk & Resilience BCM / NEM partners in their units to ensure the proper implementation of the respective strategies. nnnn Position Title: Pharma Head Ethics, Risk & Compliance Minimum requirements: WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE: • People Leadership Project Management Collaborating across boundaries Geographic Scope Critical Negotiations Major Change English Compliance Monitoring Compliance Investigations. • Disciplinary Procedures Compliance trends and analytics for proactive risk management Ability to Manage Risk of Regulatory Failure and Damage to Reputation Strategic and tactical planning for compliance program management and evolution Ability to Drive a Compliance Culture • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmaceuticals, Business Administrations, Economics, Law, or other relevant disciplines • Total career work experience: at least 3 years in leadership role for Compliance / Ethics / Risk function(s) • Relevant experience: at least 3 years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry Why Novartis? 769 million lives were touched by Novartis medicines in 2020, and while we’re proud of this, we know there is so much more we could do to help improve and extend people’s lives.
