Job Purpose:

The role is to manage India Labor Compliance for Human Resources

Job Background/context:

Managing Labor Law Compliance for Citi Franchise in India. Ensuring compliance to applicable laws both central and state laws

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collation & Coordination

• Liaison with the Site and business/function SPOCs to collate details specific to various offices and sites of Citi across locations in India required for compliance to labor laws.
• Track the validity of Citi licenses for Contract Labor (CLRA) and Shops &Establishment (S&E) licenses for Citi Premises (Offices and Branches) to ensure statutory compliance.
• Review of Statutory displays and registers in all premises/office in accordance with the statutory requirements
• Coordinate with the various SPOCs to collate information on amendment of CLRA and S&E such as:

 Covering Letters

 Valid vendor agreements

 Lease documents of the premise

 Required declarations by authorized signatories

 Employee and non-employee count in the premises

 Working hour/shift details

 Holiday list of applicable states

• Prepare data and documents for filing of Quarterly, Semi-annual, Annual returns and any other ad-hoc submission to labor dept.
• Liaison branches/premise SPOCs during on-site inspections, providing data and preparing documents for closure of such Inspections
• Coordinate with the site signatories to get signatures on regulatory filings for required licenses (renewals/ returns) for Citi franchise.
• Coordinate with the HRG team and Site SPOCs for collation of data for employees working from office or home on mandatory/ state holidays for Citi franchise. Coordinating with relevant teams for display of staff list on notice boards in Citi offices in case they are working on such days.
• Creation of letters on letter heads for filing of returns, renewal of S&E, amendment of CLRA and seeking requisite approvals and signatures from Citi employees prior to submission to Govt. dept.

Tracking

• Tracking of license information, NEMS Management to ensure the CLRA licenses are updated for Citi franchise.
• Liaison with HGS to ensure the monthly tracking of open items for Citi franchise.
• Updating of Share Point for form N, and shift details.
• Track completion of semi-annual branch Audit, maintain an updated list of branch SPOCs.
• Track the professional tax certification completion, lease agreements for all premises in co-ordination with the CRS Team.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: ₹550,000.00 – ₹650,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
