Join us as our new Regulatory System Specialist & Administrator
We are seeking a motivated Systems Specialist to help us on our mission to operate, optimize and develop our new Regulatory Information Management platform (Veeva RegulatoryOne), in the role as the system’s primary administrator.
Reporting to the Department Manager of Regulatory Affairs Global Operations, you will be a key member of small team tasked with developing regulatory information and data management as a key organizational capability.
This role is ideal for a candidate who is an independent, creative, people-oriented IT generalist.

Regulatory Affairs is a global organization that provides strategic, tactical, and operational support to Novozymes’ core business on regulatory matters that are critical for the development and launch of safe and effective biosolutions for our customers around the world. We are a high-energy team of 75+ colleagues located over 14 sites in Europe and the Middle East, North and South America, and Asia.
You will be part of Regulatory Affairs Global Operations, a recently formed team with members from India and Denmark tasked with transforming Regulatory Affairs into a data-driven organization, by providing system and operational support to the Global Regulatory Affairs community.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Managing and maintaining our new Veeva RegulatoryOne system in the role of primary system administrator as we strive to realize the benefits of a modern, global, Single-Source-of-Truth knowledge base.
Configure new features in Veeva RegulatoryOne based on business requirements
Providing first level support together with our Super-user community, provide second level support to the Super-users and facilitate escalation of issues to our partners at Veeva.
Performing releases of Veeva Vault and RegulatoryOne every fourth month
Supporting super-users and growing community of users via demos and trainings
Supporting data quality checks and initiatives to continuously maintain and improve data quality in the system
Improve and automate workflows – testing as well as reporting based on data from the system
Supporting colleagues in Novozymes IT and other corporate digitalisation stakeholders to maintain system integrations and connections. Propose and implement workarounds.
Experience:
5+ years of total relevant job experience with at least three years of experience in either a system administrator or high-level superuser role in a relevant regulatory, product life cycle or document management system, with
A university engineering or science degree in a relevant IT field, and with the following experience viewed as major advantages:
Prior experience with managing and configuring a Veeva Vault system or a similar Software-as-a-Service solution, especially if in the field of Regulatory Affairs.
A Veeva Associate Administrator certification (previously known as ‘White Belt’), or the skills and experience required to pass Veeva Associate Administrator certification as part of onboarding.
Skills:
Ability to work with understand complex data models, work with databases, and various data formats.
Intermediate to advance proficiency in scripting in Python, VQL, and preferably in Java SDK in Veeva Vault.
Willingness to learn and work with BI tools, such as Tableau/Power BI for reporting.
Collaborative and analytical skills to translate business requirements to PoCs and technical solutions quickly.
Strong communication skills and talent for relaying complex issues to IT and non-IT colleagues alike.
A natural flair for training, supporting and inspiring colleagues and stakeholders.
Ability to take initiatives and work proactively in a global organization.
Solution-oriented mindset with the capacity to navigate Novozymes’ organization.
Ability to work effortlessly in both written and spoken English, in a global organization with a remote manager.

This job will be located at Novozymes Bengaluru Campus in India and is in our flexible Hybrid category (At least 60% in office and up to 40% remote viewed monthly and as role and tasks permit)
