Involves excellent people management and communication skills to engage senior executives from the headquarters, the countries, and the shared services provider as well as coordinating with the Global IT organization pertaining to Tier 1 systems.
Leads in contract management and negotiation with shared service provider.
Runs and improves the shared services operations within internal client expectations and agreed service level objectives (SLO).
Tracks and monitors the performance of the service providers through its agreed KPI and SLA.
Acts as transition lead between countries, shared services, region, and group functions.
Able to gets hands-on in the event of major incidents and escalation to restore normalcy.
Leads solution planning and requirement gathering phase including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.
Works with team members to identify, mitigate, and resolve project issues and risks.
Look for opportunities to improve of the RPA operation.
Effective program management to execute all approved programs.
Provides accurate and periodic updates of the status operations based on key metrics.
Experience
This person has experience with how a finance digital shared services center operates with good appreciation of technology enablers including ERP, robotics process automation, cognitive OCR and workflow tools. Have worked with IT and shared services team; and is equally at ease in running the operations and improving the operations to deliver superior outcomes.
The candidate must have a degree in accounting, finance, and/or relevant field. Certified public accountant or equivalent preferred but not a must.
A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience.
Experience in managing a cost center, and track record in managing the business budget with a tight leash.
Proven people leadership experience in identifying core team members with the right skills and attitude; play the coach to groom members of the center of excellence.
Keen interest and aptitude with technology enablers like ERP, robotics process automation, cognitive OCR, workflow tools, business intelligence and some appreciation about IT operations best practices.
Must understand the basics of business and IT operations – ability to understand the area of pain in service delivery management.
Excellent 360-degree people management and communications skills with internal and external stakeholders – good written and verbal communications in English.
Previous experience in managing demand from internal users – must be able to decipher needs and wants, to provide the right level of service at the right cost and in a timely manner.
Experience in managing service delivery, contract management, and with proven vendor management skills.
Experience in SLA/KI measurement (performance tracking), chargeback principles and process simplification/improvement.
The candidate must have demonstrated a strategic mindset – assessing performance data, identify gaps, identify root causes, and develop solutions for improving operations.
Evidence of strong program management skills to develop plans and see-through execution and deliver envisioned outcomes.
Previous experience in preparing for internal and external audit, ensuring that the organization is always compliant to regulatory mandates
