The role of Manager, Finance is a management role, accountable for managing various financial functions within the organisation. This role involves overseeing financial planning, analysis, reporting and ensuring NTT’s financial health and compliance with relevant regulations. This role is responsible for providing operational support to business stakeholders on matters pertaining to financial management and operational implementation.
This role provides overall management of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on achieving operational excellence.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Develops and manages NTT’s financial plans, including annual budgets, long-term financial forecasts, and financial modelling, ensuring the alignment with NTT’s strategic goals.
Conducts in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into NTT’s financial performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement. This includes analysing revenue, expenses, profitability, and cost control measures.
Oversees the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and external parties.
Ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitors and controls budgetary allocations and expenditures across various business areas and/or projects. Identifies variances and implements corrective actions as needed.
Oversees the management of the finance information systems and necessary reports for critical analyses of financial performance.
Identifies, assesses, and mitigates financial risks that could impact NTT’s financial stability or profitability.
Develops risk management strategies and policies.
Establishes and maintains strong financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
Manages cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to meet financial obligations and support day-to-day operations.
Optimises cash management strategies.
Collaborates with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support NTT’s growth and profitability goals.
Provides financial insights and recommendations.
Ensures compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws in the regions where the organisation operates.
Coordinates with internal and external auditors.
Maintains relationships with investors and analysts, providing them with accurate and transparent financial information and responding to inquiries.
Builds and leads a high-performing finance team, providing direction, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors
Receives objective based assignments and determines resources to meet schedules and goals
Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting. Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis
Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and develop a finance team
Strategic Thinking: The capability to think strategically and align finance strategies with the organisation’s broader business goals
Strong communication and presentation skills to convey financial information effectively to various audiences, both internal and external
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
Knowledge of financial risk assessment and mitigation strategies
Adaptability to changing business environments and the ability to contribute to financial transformation initiatives when necessary
Commitment to ethical and responsible financial practices and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
A commitment to staying updated with industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices through ongoing professional development
Political savvy with the ability to influence and manage conflict
Understanding of how technology solutions are influenced and affected by various business scenarios

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
Required Experience:
Advanced financial leadership experience in a related environment, managing people, processes and budgets to achieve corporate and divisional objectives
Advanced demonstrable experience with and understanding of the deliverables of a financial function
Advanced strategic planning experience
Advanced in depth knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs, combined with strong understanding of business process
Advanced demonstrated experience managing finance operations, including knowledge of taxation, foreign exchange, and regulatory compliance
