Full Job Description
NTT DATA looking for an experienced LINUX system administrator who is ready to take another step in their career and enter infrastructure automation world. To be successful in this position you will have to meet below criteria:
Hands on experience in Linux System administration (RedHat 6 and 7) including network and SAN configuration, OS upgrades, Patch installationHands on experience on layered disk management products – VXVM/VXFS/LVMHands on experience in configuration and troubleshooting with high Availability management products HACMP (AIX) & VCS, CVM/CFS (Linux)Hands-on experience on Linux Performance monitoring and Tuning.Knowledge of security, scheduler, backup, performance monitor product like Powerbroker, VERITAS NetBackup, Autosys, ITM, Perform/BMC.Able to work well with multiple stake holders in migrating / deploying applications to UNIX OSSetup application environment, assist Application team in verifying application environment, troubleshoot application problems as and when application encounter problem.Knowledge on AIX and Solaris administration, Linux VMWare VM is preferredHands on experience in planning and execution for migrating/relocating servers within and across Data Centers, Hands on/knowledge of server migration tools like plate spinAbility to design and implement automated test.Focused on configuration governance on a wide scale environment.Be proficient in creating readable documentationHave an understanding of mass storage SAN/NAS solutionsProvide expert support, analysis, and research into exceptionally complex
Essential qualifications:
Strong self-management and readiness to exercise own initiativeRed Hat Linux 6/7 at a certifiable level; Hands on experience in build and configuration of Veritas Info scale clusterAnalytical and disciplined approach to problem solvingAbility to remain calm and objective in a high-pressure environmentExcellent communication, team coordination, interpersonal skills and customer care skills are mandatoryFluent English

Demonstrated ability to use problem solving techniques such as root cause analysis to resolve issues.Knowledge and understanding of naming services such as Active Directory and LDAPKnowledge of HPE and Dell hardware (x86_64) and RAID conceptScripting capabilities – shell/perlExperience of customer support in a time-critical environmentExperience of working in a heavily controls-focused environmentExperience in the financial sector
